We drove past an old pumpkin field yesterday and saw a bunch of dried-out gourds and pumpkins lying in the sun.  We pulled over and collected some of the fully-preserved ones.

Then I poked a face into one and hung it on a nearby tree by its vines. 

Hopefully it’s still hanging there.
