What a night I had! I spent last evening volunteering to help my buddy Robert Beech put on a great Halloween haunt at his Ann Arbor home. Children and adults alike shrieked with delight at the creepy masterpiece called “Brandywine Cemetery”.
From the eerie glowing statues, to the old gothic rusty gate, no detail was spared in making this Halloween haunt a feast for the eyes.
Robert Beech (a very talented artist) has been doing his haunt for years, much to the delight of several hundred happy Halloween enthusiasts each Halloween. Brandywine Cemetery is open the night before Halloween and Halloween night. Last evening, almost 500 lucky people had the opportunity to walk through a creepy mausoleum, experience spooky creatures with burning red glowing eyes, see coffins, zombies, and see skeletons that reach out from the dark walls. There was even a “Chicken Exit” for those wimps who couldn’t take a good scare (all of this and a vortex tunnel too!).
If you’re ever in the Ann Arbor during Halloween, and you want to experience the thrill of a magical Halloween night, stop by Brandywine Cemetery. You’ll be glad you did! If this wasn’t a good enough reason, Brandywine Cemetery (which is FREE to walk through) takes donations for a local food bank, and helps raise some much needed funds for a wonderful cause.
